At RepQuest (“the app”, “we”), we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our web application, how we use it, and your rights.

By using the app, you agree to this policy. We may update it from time to time; material changes will be published on this page.

When you create an account and use the app, we may process the following data:

• Account details: full name, email address, and password (passwords are stored hashed on the server, never in plain text).
• Workout data: programs you create, completed sessions, exercises, sets, weight and rep records, and related statistics.
• Session data: when you sign in, your browser’s session storage holds an access token, its expiry, and a basic user summary.
• Language preference: a NEXT_LOCALE cookie remembers your preferred language.

We use collected data only to operate the app and provide our service:

• Creating and authenticating your account and keeping you signed in.
• Saving and displaying your workout programs, history, and statistics.
• Handling account security flows such as password reset.
• Delivering your preferred language and interface experience.

Your account and workout data are stored on our backend API. Your session token is kept only in your browser’s session storage; it is cleared when you close the tab or sign out.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access. However, no transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking tools in our application. Your data is not shared with or sold to third parties except as required to operate our backend API.

We use a single non-essential cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your language preference for redirects and localization. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; in that case, your language may need to be chosen on each visit.

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account data. If you want your account and associated workout data permanently removed, reach out using the contact channel below.

Our app is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
